ALERT: Deadbeat junk fax lawyer Jaromir Kovarik and KTHL
They hired me, made me VP, then didn’t pay me. Don’t let these scammers talk you into representing you - that’s unless you want to be the lead plaintiff in their fake class actions.
They use a Wall St. address in NY to intimidate defendants into settling for the named plaintiff, often Kovarik’s wife Daria Kovarikova. They’re really in PA, Annville I think.
Personally, I wouldn’t hire Kovarik again if he was the last lawyer on the planet.

Kovarik doesn’t know when to quit.
Unfortunately, I don’t think they have any assets - it’s all smoke and mirrors. So I don’t think suing them is worth my while.
But then again, maybe Kovarik sues me for defamation and then I can file my counter claims. That would be interesting. I have hundreds of e-mails and postings and hours of recorded phone calls to document the work I did for them.
What are they smoking?
They actually filed a class action against Access Sales in 3/05, half a year after they’d gone out of business - DESPITE my repeated efforts to clue them in and giving them the link to Steve Kirsch’s junkfax.org page on fax.com.
On 4/2/05 I asked in the “Access Sales” thread in the private forum I had set up for them whether anyone actually read the link. Kovarik’s response:
“Yes.
And I explained in one of my emails that it is always better to sue a D in number of different forums in a number of different actions to stop him from the unwanted conduct, dissolve its resources and to preserve at least some causes of action if some are dismissed.”
This was the proverbial straw that broke the camel’s back.
Is there a Darwin award for lawyers?
I then requested payment for 4 hours work that week at $50/hr as we had agreed, and he replied that if I want to get paid, he will charge me $250/hr, essentially for e-mails like the above. If I wanted my $200, I had to pay him $800.
I worked over 80 hours for these morons.

It won’t get me paid, but I sure hope I’ll find the time to submit my complaint to the PA Bar and get him disbarred for failure to provide client agreements, attempting to force me to work for him free of charge because he was my lawer and other rather strange conduct.
