“Irvine Funding” - brand new front for Dana Capital Group?
I responded to the 2/17/05 mortgage junk fax with no name, fax only: 800-595-0084 rem. 800-595-0046
Today I received a VM from Raymond, Dana Capital 877-514-3863 ext 218 or direct at 949-450-5978
Both #s were answered by “Irvine Funding” but on the VM Raymond IDs himself as Dana Capital.
Raymond’s direct 949-450-5978 is unlisted in Irvine, Cal.
I found no DRE license, nothing in a Google search for Irvine Funding, nothing for the 877-514-3863.
I called, but couldn’t get to a person.
Comments:
I received a fax about printing with this same number; I found it odd that it had no company name, so I Googled it and found your comment. It would appear that this company is using whatever means necessary to get in the door!
The 800-595-0084 on the faxes goes to the faxers' call center and if you call on printing, they'll transfer you to the printer - if you call on mortgages they transfer you to the broker, etc.
I've also read about insurance junk faxes with that number.
Unfortunately, the scumbags at Dana Capital won't cooperate and refuse to provide any information about the faxers. Dana Capital refuses to cooperate and they know that I have no legal skills and no funds to *properly* pursue this.
Have to send out another press release.
We have traced them to SMC,LLC, allegedly located at 13612 Midway Rd, # 405, Dallas, TX . That address is actually occupied by a tow service that has nothing to do with faxing.
However, in Suite # 525 at the same address is American Blast Fax, Inc., which received an FCC citation on 8/31/00 (#EB-00-TC-169) for the same offense. I have not confirmed that this is the author of the faxes, but it is very coincidental.
If anyone receives factual information on the author of similar faxes to Washington state, please contact me at the above e-mail address. Please do not tie up my e-mail with chit-chat or unnecessary traffic, as I don't have time to read or respond to all of it.
That's where the number was being billed at effective in May 2005.
He sent me a bunch of info and tried to get me to buy leads from him, he had a campaign going in Seattle last month.
I think he also faxed life insurance offers.
It's rather pointless to go after lead generators - after all, it's those scummy LENDERS who want these services to circumvent the advertising and junk fax laws. Going after the fax broadcasters and lead generators is as silly as the war on drugs.
Unfortunately, the government agencies who could stop ALL mortgage faxes immediately and at no cost whatsoever are refusing to enforce the laws.
Nothing is easier than revoking a broker's license.
But - that would result in a lot fewer loans and hurt the economy.
After all, we need those suckers to refinance AGAIN so they'll buy more crap they don't need and keep the economy going.
